Hey Lykkers! Ever noticed a bubble acting weird? Last weekend, I went to the park with some friends. We had this little bubble set, and as we were playing around, I noticed something super odd:

Some bubbles would float normally, but some would suddenly wobble in the air, almost like they hit an invisible wall!

At first, I thought it was just the wind — but then, I got curious. Was there a deeper reason behind it? So, I did a little digging. Let's break it down in just one minute!

What's really happening with the bubbles?

When we blow a bubble, it floats through the air, right?

But air isn't actually empty — it's filled with different layers and currents. Some spots are warmer, some are cooler, and some parts are moving faster than others.

Imagine air like invisible rivers all flowing around us.

When a bubble moves, it slightly disturbs the air around it — kind of like how a boat leaves ripples in water after it passes by. These tiny air disturbances stick around for a little while.

So, what's the "memory" effect?

This effect is called the wake effect.

When a bubble flies through the air, it changes the air's pattern just a tiny bit.

If another bubble (or the same one) passes through that spot again, it reacts differently — because the air "remembers" being disturbed!

That's why you sometimes see bubbles suddenly jiggle, spin, or look like they're hitting something invisible. They're not crazy — they're just dancing through their own footprints!

Why I find it so magical:

Standing there blowing bubbles, I suddenly thought — isn't it wild how even something as small and light as a bubble leaves a trail behind?

It made me think about life too:

Maybe all of us, with every little thing we do — a smile, a wave, a kind word — are also leaving invisible marks around us.

Even when we can't see it right away, everything we do matters.

Your turn, Lykkers!

Have you ever seen a bubble do a funny little dance in the air?

Next time you're blowing bubbles (or even just watching the wind), try to notice it! It's like seeing a secret part of the world moving around you.

Drop me a bubble emoji in the comments if you're gonna watch more closely next time!

Let's keep noticing the small magic around us — it's everywhere if we just look.
